It's nice to meet you.

I’m a lifelong resident serving as Mayor of our 59,000-strong town stretching from Old Bowie at 3rd Street to Collington Station south of 214. My aim is to show up, listen, and work to make Bowie a welcome place for all people to call home, do business, raise a family, and enjoy retirement.

What does the Mayor of Bowie do?

The Mayor of Bowie is a part-time role that chairs the city council, represents the city, sets council agendas, and listens to residents. Together, the Mayor and City Council set a budget, vote on policy, and direct the City Manager, who runs the city day-to-day.

Reach out to me here. I’d love to hear from you! The Mayor doesn’t have a personal staff, so please bear with me if I take a few days to reply.
