Thank You: Annual Stream Clean Up

Over 70 residents came out to sites throughout the city on Saturday for the annual Spring Stream Clean Up.

Volunteers and city employees managed to pick up over 2,015 lbs of trash.

In addition to the usual tires, bottles, cans, and plastic bags, volunteers removed two car bumpers, and an intact mailbox with a post and concrete base.

I had the chance to help at the Tanglewood Park location where the worst of the rain thankfully held off. A big thank you to the volunteers and to the City Green Team for organizing this annual event!
